1 ) A wine contains 10.5% alcohol by volume. How many centiliters of alcohol are contained in a bottle containing 725 mL of the wine?
2) Water is 11.2% by mass hydrogen. How many grams of water would contain 4.50 g of hydrogen?
3) An intramuscular medication is given at 2.25 mg.lb-1 of body weight. If you give 348 mg of medication to a patient, what is the patient’s weight in kilograms (1 lb. = 0.454 kg)?
1) = 7.61 cL
2) = 100 x 4.50 / 11.2 = 40.2 g
3) = 348 / 2.25 x 0.454 = 70.2 kg
